As one of drafting units of national environmental protection standard-Test methods of PM loading in catalytic converters, SwARC takes initiative in building up the PM loading test ability to provide services to vehicle emission aftertreatment industry on the principle of fairness and justness and hopes to play an active role in standardizing the catalytic converter market of automobiles and motorcycles further.

 

Equipped with international advanced leveled sample preparation and precise analysis facilities, the PM loading laboratory, including 3 test rooms – smashing and grounding room, digesting room, and element content analysis room, has comprehensive test abilities covering from dismantling catalytic converters to PM loading and ratio analysis.

 

 

　1.  Dismantling the shell of a catalytic converter;

　2.  Masuring the quality and volume of the core body of a catalytic converter;

　3. Smashing and grounding the core body;

　4. Digesting the sample;

　5. Testing PM content and ratio.
