SwARC passed CMA approval after one year’s preparation, which was organized by Tianjin Quality and Technique Supervision Bureau, and was accredited with CMA certificate on May 19.
Benefited from the comprehensive coordinated reform of Tianjin Bin Hai New Area, Tianjin takes the lead in carrying out metrology accreditation for foreign invested laboratories. Last September, SGS and ITS-Intertek passed the approval in the first batch, which called great response in China.
The quality and efficiency of the preparation and application work was guaranteed by strengthening inner training, as well as using the advanced experience of National Passenger Car Quality Supervision & Inspection Center for reference and seeking help from related leaders and experts.
CMA is short for China Metrology Accreditation. Following China Metrology Law, CMA is a comprehensive authentication or evaluation conducted by a province or higher administrative organization. The organizations to be certificated are quality supervising units or other labs that can provide the society with fair-and-square test data. A CMA certificated unit can use CMA stamp or symbol on its test report. A report with CMA certificate can be used for international trade verification, quality evaluation, achievement accreditation and judicatory judgment with legal effect.
